LET'S WRITE,  LINNEA LUCIFER,  NANOWRIMO

WELL THAT’S A FIRST

I WAS IN SUCH a mad dash to complete NaNoWriMo before the 19th that I forgot to post my diploma.

This is the first time I’ve completed Nano before the 30th, and it was only possible because of the extensive planning and preparation that went in to it. I spent both Camp Nanos (in April and July) this year prepping for November, so on the first all I had to do was to lie back and get it all together.

Now I have more than 50,000 words of Ulfrheim adventures to start fashioning into something that looks like a coherent story. Chapters 1 and 2 are available on Wattpad and here on the blog if you want to tag along and see the story unfold.

One thing i can say about speed writing this way is that I don’t recommend it. Partly, because it takes away some of the enjoyment from the writing process. Partly, because it’s hard to keep track of where you’re going when you’re speeding, and you run the risk of having to do a lot of backtracking to sort it out. Still, I had something to do on the 19th, so I had to be done by then and I really didn’t want to miss NaNo.

So, how about you?

– Did you participate in NaNoWrimo this year?

– Would you mind sharing why/why not?

Let’s talk in the comments below or send me a message via socials. Also, remember to post your links in the comments below if you want to share your writing projects, whether it’s a wip or a published piece. I’d love to come over and see them.

Hope you’re having a good day. I see you, and I appreciate your visit.

Laters Lovely,

//Evalena 😘

PSST!

      1. If you’re thinking about NaNo, but haven’t really found the courage to jump into it yet – set a reminder in your calendar for Camp Nano in April and let’s do it together.
