My character Eewil Grimm and his didekick Bellatrix, the Guardian of Halloween in front of a spooky looking house with bats and spiders.

SPOOKY END TO PREPTOBER

WELCOME TO the very last of this year’s preptober, or InstaWrimo, posts. It’s Day 31 and for some readers it may be time to celebrate Halloween. I guess that’s why the last prompt is:

– Spooky.

Although there are elements of spooky in my Ulfrheim #wips, I’m not ready to blog about them yet. Let me take you back to a post I made in the first few days of this challenge instead and introduce you to Eewil Grimm. Together with his sidekick, Bellatrix the Guardian of Halloween, Eewil has to solve the mystery of what’s happened to his father, Grim Reaper Nefarious Grimm.

The story about Eewil and Bellatrix will be published online in 2022.

Right, my friend, that’s it for today. But before I go:

– Are you celebrating Helloween?

Let’s talk in the comments below or send me a message via socials. Also, remember to post the links in the comments below if you use any of my prompts in your own posts. I’d love to come over and see them.

Hope you’re having a good day. I see you, and I appreciate your visit.

Laters Lovely,

//Evalena 😘

Writing prompt from #NaNoWriMo Preptober InstaWrimo Challenge: 31 October, 2021. “Spooky”

The #InstaWrimo is a photo challenge for Instagram, but it works just as well as a daily writing prompt.

PSST!

      1. Here are the daily writing prompts for NaNoWriMo’s preptober challenge. It’s never too late to start, so let’s get into it. Together.

    Definitely checking out Eewil Grimm! Also, I’m very uncool – what’s Helloween?
    I took my kids trick or treating around the neighbourhood in a pink wig and diamante mask. Only to discover I am – ahem – a little curvier than last time I wore the red silk ballgown, and the zip is now a mere phantom of its former self.

      Don’t know if I’ve mentioned it, but Eewil is actually my grandson’s invention. Oh, no, I did write about it in the post about the Tower of London on the 8th October. Best writing memory of my life, and he still keeps asking for writing sessions. He’s got an idea for a story about fairies next, bless him. =)
