It’s here! At last! My first-ever collection of stories is ready and set and heading out into the world just in time for Spooky Month! 

You’ll recognise a few old favourite tales here, as well as six completely new ones, all wrapped up in a dark love story about a cursed prophetess. She journeys to the Styx, the river that runs through the underworld, to steal coins from Charon, the ferryman of the dead. I wasn’t planning to write a romance, but my characters had other ideas and they weren’t taking no for an answer! In the end, I think they were right, but do they regret it? Only one way to find out…

I can’t tell you how thrilled and grateful I am for the gorgeous cover created by Deni Weeks, and the sumptuous setting and fine-tooth-comb editing by our ever-professional captain!

F.K. Marlowe is a Shropshire lass who lived in London and Beijing before settling down with her husband, three daughters and rescue pup in Vancouver. She writes horror stories with a tendency to the paranormal, and Young Adult fiction with fangs and sass.

Marlowe doesn’t worry overly much about the placement of semi-colons and the like, having spent far too long pootling about in academia to take them seriously. (She has an Oxford first in English Lit, plus a Master’s and PhD from Leeds). She has, however, discovered that life is the best education for a writer, and plans to continue her studies there as long as possible.
