His name was Leto, he was a show bear… 🕺🏽♬
It’s a beautiful day and I would like to take a moment to lower the anchor and have a long overdue heart-to-heart. A ship is only as lively as its crew, and goodness me, have we been through some rollicking waves lately. From tempests to mutinies (well, not exactly, but bear with the metaphor will ya), the Resilience has weathered it all.
You see, over the summer, while we were anchored up outside our home port in Libertalia, our steadfast crew members had to battle their own storms at home. Elemental ones, illness-related ones, life-changing ones, and some personal bloody storms to boot. It means we have been sailing at less than full capacity for months now. Yet here we are, team Superfly is still afloat, still laughing in the face of whatever trials and tribulations the sea throws at us.
Yesterday, I had a proper bottom-of-the-barrel kinda day and it wasn’t just the spray from the sea that kept my cheeks wet. But that’s how we roll. We cave at times. We shed some tears and, at least in my case, argue with the powers that be. And now we’re here, facing a new day where autumn leaves fall like colourful wings and new opportunities arise! With a recalibrated compass, refilled rum barrels, a tea supply to see us well into the next year, and a huge box of feather boas, we’re fully stocked and excited to announce that we now have both time and space to pick up a few new passengers to join our literary adventures!
If you’re yearning for the high seas, for personal development plunder, untold treasures and a chance to join a crew that sticks together like barnacles on a hull, this may very well be the opportunity you have been waiting for all your life.
Come hop onboard and have a fika with us as we set sail for Hotel de Ville and an autumn of writing, reading, and living the merry pirates – err, I mean authors… author’s life. Calling on Sir Bear to raise the Jolly Roger and rally the crew to hoist the main sail. It’s time to level up my friends and make the voyage to Yule one to remember and write home about!
Linnea Lucifer is the Captain of an imaginary pirate ship, a weaver of stories, and a certified pain in the arse.
Named after a delicate little flower that grows in mossy, Swedish pine forests, and a fiery fallen angel, she takes great pleasure in everything that tickles the senses and adds a sprinkle of magic and spice to our world.
When Linnea’s not busy commanding the Resilience, or lost in one of her daydreams, she pens fantasy steeped in Norse myth and Scandi folklore as Saga Linnea Söderberg, or Sweet’n’Spicy spoonie smut as Linn Rhinehart together with her Sir Bear.
