WIP a dark blue brick wall with the words work in progress in white and a yellow status bar

Lately, I’ve dealt with a number of issues that have kept me from putting words together, but the thoughts have kept going.

The Captain says I should tell you people what I’m working on and there is actually a good bit. A modern writer has to do a lot more than just write and the problem of non-writing tasks taking away from the writing is even worse when you have as many interests as I do.

I’ve been intent on finishing the sequel to FUCK, entitled Cuddle, but a plot point is eluding me. I’ve found my brain instead returning to a story called Hunted. I’ve mostly finished a sapphic pirate story but want to go back and add some more spice to it. Additionally, I’m working on another sapphic pirate story with the Captain.

Outside of writing, but in the domain of being a modern writer, I’m looking at trying to have an easy setup to do more YouTube and TikTok content as I miss doing it. However, I’m overhauling my approach to content creation as I have a limited number of spoons to spend these days between long Covid and some chronic health issues.

Speaking of content, I launched my podcast The Snuggery this month  Right now I’m discussing some erotic vampire movies for Halloween and future seasons will be based around a variety of content.

I think of social media platforms as two different kinds – blogging and conversational. Twitter is conversational for me, and if it finally completes its collapse Bluesky and Threads seem to be competing to take over that space. I have no idea how that will work out but for now, I’ve fallen back in love with Tumblr and am posting very different content over there. This includes material for my fantasy world of Reuel including a Moira (Tarot) deck and in the near future characters.

My appearance on the Speak Seductively podcast has not yet been aired, so that is still somewhere on the horizon. There are links to the past episodes on my media kit page, and I will add a link to the new one when it comes out.

I think that is all for now.

Leto Armitage, October 2023

The door to Leto's quarters. You can see his face through the round ship's window.

Leto Armitage was born in America under a set of circumstances that prophesied that he would one day unite the lost tribes and return the Ever Summer. Somewhere around twelve, he realized he had been left unsupervised and binged too many Arthurian movies in his formative years and that he was just another kid who accidentally got an education while reading above his age level.

By the time he turned old enough to get a passport, he started finding excuses to travel determined to find out what culture, food and women there were to experience. After learning to grill in Oaxaca, do kinbaku in Japan, and being banned from several former Soviet block countries, he returned home to settle down and see what damage he could do locally.

After working jobs including being a short order cook, bodyguarding strippers and professionally doing reader’s advisory for erotica he realized the most reasonable path forward was to become a writer. Today he lives with cats, dogs, and humans who seem to like him despite actually knowing him. He prefers to sit on his back deck, listening to the birds and Barry the Bumblebear bee, while he writes cozy, uplit romance and raunchy erotica.
